Ah ha!! ABS Plastic was introduced in 1963!!! The World of Lego Toys says 1961! I always thought that there was way too much Cellulose Acetate Lego around for the change to have taken place in 1961. Excellent! Things I really liked: Use of "off-color" plates on the hull. The hyperdrive looks great with all that tr. blue. Your method for opening in the middle. Do 6 peg-hole combos really hold that thing together? If you hold it from just the (...) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Back in '63 there was only the Town System. All 138 parts packs were for Town. Today there are about 25 or so parts packs for Town. All the rest are for the other Lego Systems (although many of the ones I include in Town can be used in other (...) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

On my last trip to San Diego I went to Legoland, CA. I must say that it is one of the coolest places I have ever seen. All of the displays are absolutely superb.
