  Re: Indy GTX & GBC

(...) Steve - you can probably count me in for the January show if you need me. I suspect the Duck can be made to look like something that goes with a train layout, along with my new conveyor (not the one I had in Chicago). So, keep me in the loop. (...)   Re: Mindstorms on Slashdot

(...) I think you have to be a little careful here. That mother may be right. If her kid has a ton of Lego parts that he never plays with - then purchasing a bunch more Lego parts that will be used once to build the model on the box then dumped in (...)   Re: My first mecha

(...) Sean, I was really impressed to see how close you got to the miniature at this small scale. I particularly liked the slope work on the chest, with the 1x1 slopes mounted at different orientations, and the larger center slope. The feet also (...)   Re: Mindstorms on Slashdot

(...) Certainly I didn't buy into the argument that they can make an RCX for 75 cents! That's ridiculous. (20 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Help me convert this train program to use events (NQC)

(...) I got to try my program tonight. It wouldn't compile, claiming EVENTTYPEHIGH and EVENTTYPEPRESSED were undefined. Eventually I figured out that I had to set the target flag -TRCX2. My compilation command is getting more and more complicated: (...) (20 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, FTX)

Talking point: beacon light on or off while robot in motion

Calum, I would be willing to concede the point of not allowing the beacon light to be always on, if, you would be willing to accept a robot, who did not ever turn on the light. My thinking is this: Your argument was based on the idea that a robot (...) (20 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Space Coupé

(...) Rooohhhhhhh!!!..... I never saw them. Did you check (URL) this folder of mine>? I posted it about 2 weeks ago I think. Amazing resssemblance! Actually it's more than ressemblance, some of them are identical. Weird. JP. (20 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub

(...) Hi K, yes sculptural, but the mobility is still intact. I mean, I can filp and rotate the shoulder so the arm can stay elevated. The Cub can do stuff like that. Although I wouldn't say it is as strong as the trusty worm gear set up. (...) I, (...) (20 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Arched Through Truss Bridge - LegoWorld 2005 Bridge strength contest

(...) Philo- Cool looking bridge. Neat contest. For our current SCLTC layout, we built twin 192-stud long truss bridges with the truss work under the decks. We tested the spans with a 13 pound bowling ball in the center and measured a deflection of (...) (20 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Striscione ITLUG

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto20 Draft Rules Posted

(...) I used to read every post, now I skim and click on one or two every week or so (happened to click this one looking for "Angry Derek" posts), so Jon and I (co-worker/team-mate for this competition) are strictly going by what is on the webpage. (...) I think I will be able to come, and I'd like to be bring as many mocs as I can, but having never been to your place I don't know much room you have.
