  Re: Alco-like Cuban Sugar Train

(...) I like it a lot and just love the color scheme. Even the dark bley cab roof. All the colors work very well. I wil be giving this a brick build attempt quite soon. Best, Jonathan (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Striscione ITLUG

Per me va benissimo... Questo striscione è stampato o è fatto con l'adesivo tagliato a plotter??   Re: Problem with IR

(...) Ok, your right they are separate, so that if I left the second -Susb out, my program wouldn't download via the USB tower, but would go to my other RCX via the serial tower. My batch-file is this: nqc -Susb -firmfast c:\newrcx~1.lgo nqc -Susb (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Alco-like Cuban Sugar Train

(...) I forgot to mention in the post (and to X-post to .schleim) that I've added the grille work separately to BS to make it easier to see the technique. You can find it in this (URL). Tim (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Alco-like Cuban Sugar Train

(...) That grille work is excellent with the fence parts used to create a thin vertical line segment between the protruding grilles. Thanks for highlighting this bit of detail work. Really nice! later, James Mathis (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: A double crossover

(...) First, wow. That is a gorgeous switch. I must admit I was a bit amused by Rosco's comment about long wheelbase cars hitting the lever. I gave up on levers a long time ago :) That is a good observation though Rosco. Chris (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom)

  Tall tower

This is my first time posting so please let me know if I am doing anything wrong. I'm trying to build a tall tower using only Lego. I know that the record is over 90 feet but using just the bricks on hand I made a tower 17 feet 11 inches tall. (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch) !

Re: What's the worst Lego-related thing you've ever done?

(...) Not sure about illegal but perhaps. When I worked retail if we no longer had an item and another store did we could have it shipped from a store that did. When KK1 was ending I noticed that the sets were 40-50% off so I checked the system to (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: T3 Board colors & rules

(...) I'm going to go with John on this. But only because I don't want him to have to start over, and I doubt it will affect Brian. :) (...) Sounds good. I have a BrickOS program that I made up to keep time. If I can find it, I'll post it. Steve (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Wake up Mr.Sleepyhead Stormtrooper

Re: T3 Board colors & rules

(...) LDraw is actually much easier to start using than I thought. The interface is a little cumbersome, but nice. The lego pieces practically snap into place (but not the technic pins & stuff, they're trickier). I have only scraped the surface of (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: My first mecha: Proto-1

Hi Mo, Nice mecha. The bubble head thing is very retro sci-fi, yet the body style is quite modern mecha. Its an odd mix. It puts me in mind of robbie spliced with an angular anime mecha body. I really like the body style, very posable, and well (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: OT - anyone own a robot vacum?

  Re: New Mecha: The Cub
