  VEX

I can't seem to find a lugnet.robotics.otherbrand group, so I will ask here; Has anyone taken a VEX set for a test drive? I haven't, mainly 'cos of the cost versus what you seem to get for the money. Any comments would be welcome. FUT to somewhere (...) (21 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: New white?

(...) Click hinges seem to exhibit more color variance than other pieces - I noticed it especially with the lime green hinges from (URL). I don't know if it's because they're made of different plastic or what. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's (...) (21 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Re: New white?

  Re: Starfighters

Hello, I have just recently come back to Lugnet, I have posted here a few years ago, but this is my fist post to .starwars since I've come back. I just wanted to know what you thought of my modified lego set, the folder is here: (URL) but till it is (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Technical help, Please.

You mention Bell - so that means Sympatico. Are you using their Access Manager software, or the thing built into XP (if you are using XP) for rPPPoE? In either case, a better solution is to but a cheap router like this one here (URL) is available (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: New SW sets, Tie and V-wing, Pics from Eurobricks

(...) Actually, they *aren't* straight from eurobricks, they were copied from (URL) FBTB> and the LEGO copyright removed without permission. But still nice pics! ROSCO (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: New white?

(...) I've definitely noticed lower quality control on PaB pieces before so it's probably that. I think they come from the parks sometimes where bad pieces aren't an issue. Tim (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.color)

New SW sets, Tie and V-wing, Pics from Eurobricks

Hey, I was reading Eurobricks.com, my fave site for pictures of new LEGO sets, and I saw two pictures of the new SW sets, and seeing as no one else here in lugnet.starwars has posted them, here they are, straight from eurobricks. (URL) Eurobricks! (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  New white?

I saw some "white" click hinges in the local pick-a-brick. They seemed to have just a slight pinkish tinge. Is white being replaced? Was this just bad lighting? Bad quality control? White is on the list... (URL) Hafner www.hafhead.com (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: 4679 Fall Spring Cleaning Bonus

A couple of pertinent questions: 1. Did the side of the box it came in have any imprinted or indented markings that resembled a 4-digit number? 2. Was there a lot of stock of this bucket, or were shelves relatively empty? 3. In the first run of the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Technical help, Please.

(...) Thanks Dave, I will try new drivers and see if that makes a difference, if not, maybe a new card is just what I need. Thanks for the advice. (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Technical help, Please.

(...) Okay, I totally buy that, this PC is a piece of garbage and frustrates me on the best of days. For the record, I was just repeating what the tech guy told me, I have no clue, but I'm sure they have standard lines just to end the call. I asked, (...)   direct manipulation of bits in RCX registers using NQC

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use NQC to directly set bits in RCX registers? And if so, how does one do it? I've seen C code examples of this in a few places, but no NQC examples. Specifically, I want to turn on and off the red (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: 4679 Fall Spring Cleaning Bonus

(...) Neat! Very helpful, thanks for doing that. I love the spring cleaning concept, but I'm probably not going to shell out 50% more than for last year's tub and have to eat all those new color pieces.   Re: have you got the balls? - Re: Spybotic

So how does one go about getting a hold of your balls? It seems Chris is either out of balls or doesn’t like others borrowing his balls. I’ll gladly pay any shipping costs, after all those balls are quite heavy despite their tiny size. Ivan “Just (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train Show October

(...) Dave last show, when we talked trains, I was going to reduce my grade by half, taking (iirc) 32 (or was it 38, too lazy to check currently) brick high grade, down to 16 (if my numbers are correct). Are we still cool with that??? In all (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  4679 Fall Spring Cleaning Bonus

Hey all, I flickr'd a (URL) pic> of the new bonus box that comes with the 4679 tub (which is, to remind everyone, a Toys R Us exclusive).
