Re: The Brick Testament: Abimelech, King of Israel

Hey Brendan, How's this for turn-around? :) 69 Sons: The idol is really well done. I especially like the bug-eye things with the helmets. The floor idea with the turntable halves is also very nice. In 9:3-4 are those chrome silver coins? If so, (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: LPub rendering wrong camera angle for instructions

(...) As an aside, I'll be trying out the new version you just announced, I just want to figure this problem out with the version I have first. (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Anyone record Revenge of the Brick?

(...) The poster I got for that at Celebrations says 7pm EST, which means it would have been on at 6pm our time, since we're not on DST (yet). But I don't see it listed in the newspaper TV guide. Love to see that DVD. I really liked that one with (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

Re: LPub rendering wrong camera angle for instructions

(...) Yeah, that's pretty confusing. (...) Ok. In MLCad I've added an absolute rotation step of 30,45,0 to the beginning of my ldraw file. I've added a rotation end step to the end of it. When I try it now in LPub it crashes: L3P failed for file (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: txt2dat - Create LDraw files from text

(...) Well I worked out the scale factor, and imported the DATs into an Access db (some had to have some stuff inlined first) then manually went through the polygons working out all the verteces and entered them directly using Font Creator.   Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) SNIP I've thought about this some more, maybe add $1 to sets over $10 so the small 'impulse' sets don't change. OR raise the average price per piece some fraction of cent (or 1 cent if absolutely neccessary). PLEASE DON'T MOVE ANY NEW (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: LPub rendering wrong camera angle for instructions

(...) Hi Jon, This is not very clean in LPub, but the Globe Camera stuff does not affect building instructions. One thing LEGO does in their building instructions is turn the model, to make the backside of the model visible. MLCad provides ROTSTEP (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

LPub rendering wrong camera angle for instructions

I'm using LPub 2.2.0.0 Why does LPub generate a render with the correct camera angle when I do a "Complete Assembly" but not when I generate "Instruction Images". In this case the camera angle is supposed to be globe, lattitude: 30, longitude: 45, (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Train Show Layout Size Restrictions??

(...) Our (NALUG) last display was 45' x 25'. It took in excess of 14 hours x 10 people = 140 man hours to set up. And we were pretty close to killing each other by the end. I would suggest either a smaller, more detailed display or one that is (...) (21 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.trains.org)
