  Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

(...) Your giant dome panels on the fronts of the lower buildings rock my world. It's great to see a set of matching modules- they all look like they belong together! -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Check This Out

(...) Please excuse the mis-use or lack of proper RR lingo, I'm still new to trains. Here in St. Louis we have the WF&P Rail Road ((URL) route goes along a river, some old railroad beds (I believe) and through some wooded areas, about a 30 minute (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) :-) That stuff is positively KeWl! Funny you should mention that. One of my long-term goals is to build a train consist using Gauge 1 trucks, couplers, and motors (BTW, I've abandoned 14 wide for the correct size for Gauge 1, 12 wide) and run (...)   Re: Baskin-Robbins Moonbase HOVER Module

(...) I love the use of curves, especially with the grey ones stepped out from the white. The cone on top is great too. The brown mixed in with the other colors works well in a way that I've never been able to do. However, I'm a little leery of the (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks! Time: I don't have it either. This ship took well over a year. Inspiration: Watch lots of sci-fi. Even bad sci-fi. Greebly bits: Can't help you there! -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hmm, larger scale than the live steam rideable layout I got a chance to visit in Largo Florida last Christmas. I really need to get around to posting pictures from it. The Largo layout sprawls over several acres of a park, complete with a (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Glad to hear that I could inspire you. I've always loved the various aquazone windows, but have always trouble getting them into a MOC in a way that works well. As far as building other themes... I started in Space, and that's what I love to (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Help with redesigning a Boat Lock

(...) Hmmm. To expand the idea of climbing up four gear racks at the corners, the problem would seem to be burying a motor (or several) in the water+boat system to power the on-platform gears that crawl up the racks. One possibility is how much room (...) (21 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.technic)
