  Re: BrickFest 2005!

Ed, Thanks for your thoughts and comments. It seems that the idea of making the CCC dispaly smaller and more compact is a popular one, and if there is space i also like your idea of having more pace ofr an outside the walls type display. To be (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Scenes from Los Angeles

Neat scenes. I especially like the pueblito. You captured the look of the spanish tile very well! Back home in Texas, nearly every building on Randolph Air Force base has that style roof. Also some neat details in your city scene, especially the (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Ciao! Ringrazio tutti per aver risposto con tanto entusiasmo! L'evento è aperto a tutti, iscritti e non iscritti, ma non farò pubblicità in zona... solo "pochi" intimi.   Re: Question about technic motors and voltages/amperages

(...) In my opinion, an electric motor can't be overpowered as long as the voltage is the same, Don't overdue the amperage off course, but as long as it's in the mA, there will be no problem. (21 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

Dual Hex small piston compressor (repost)

After some research, I proved to myself that small pneumatic pumps are best for motorized compressors (what a suprise, Dr. Soh was right ;^) For those who are unaware, Dr Soh, is a long time LEGO pneumatic entheusiast, who is particularly interested (...)   Three Toe Pneumatic Quadraped (repost)

This pneumatic quadraped can walk forward, backwards, and turn right or left. It is a followon to my original quadraped Quad242 ( (URL) ).   Inchworm 2 (neat and tidy) (repost)

I finally uploaded pictures of my second Inchworm. This is exactly the same geometry and circuitry as Inchworm ( (URL) ). It is just done with better color choices, and tidier pneumatic hoses. Inchworm walks by undulating its body. It has 7 segments (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Pneumatic hexapod omni-Directional 2 (repost)

I uploaded some pictures of PhD 2, that some of you saw at BrickFest 2004. PhD2 is a neat and tidy version of its predecessor Hex-363.   Question about technic motors and voltages/amperages

especially concerning the 47154 motor, (URL) Yesterday, I found a current transformer, and the the output is 9 volts at 400 Ma. I bought this since I intend save batteries and get my power from the wall sockets instead. after doing some testing I (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Lego Buildings with 4 Walls

4 walls was done before, see US set 560 or it's european 376 version. As for abandoning the minifig, that's the reason kids like town, it allows them to recreate things in everyday life. It's such a strong part of the brand recognition I very much (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.general)

  Lego Buildings with 4 Walls

I was looking at the #4886 Designers set in the Lugnet set database yesterday. And there were a few things that troubled me about it.
