Re: GMLTC at the NMRA National Convention

These models are awesome. I like the detail in the three dimensional landscape... the track following the river's edge and a river where the water level actually gets progressively lower: (URL) too bad TLG group doesn't have a "freestyle" or (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  idea: flashlight follower

I made a flashlight follower using two motors placed underneath the RCX in the middle (so it can turn in place), two skid-plates, and a light sensor mounted on one end. I made it a week ago as inspiration for the LEGO summer-campers that came to (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Where is the jumping frogs game?

(...) It was me, and that is where it was... I think I referenced it from Nik's birthday pages because that's where we played it. I don't recall. I have a fairly big site (almost completely built with Notepad, BTW). As to it not being at cheapass, (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: RCX battery cover

Robert, it would also make the robot a lot lighter because u don't have to hold those 6 AA's in the rcx. Michael Aaron (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Can we say, "Plagiarism"?

It would seem that I was in the wrong place :) I was looking in the regular gallery, not the THEME gallery. But it's pretty bad when I still managed to find the same situation, although with a different model! Greg Majewski <citrusx__@yahoo.com> (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  FT/FS Classic Space sets 6876, 6890

Hi, I've got some classic space sets that a collector might be interested in. I'm looking for a trade for opened SW sets (why opened? It seems that people are more willing to trade opened sets that they're played with once or twice. However sealed (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Programming the RCX

Well, I have a realtime interface program @ my web site along with some demo coding, also the pdf file/sample coding you can nab from mindstorms.com kinda helps, given the PDF file isn't great, but it tells you pretty much everything you can do. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Yes, it is 6X8, one piece, it does resemble the airplane part for the underbelly except it is 6 studs wide. Hmm..... :) Scott Sanburn (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: WTB Train Parts

(...) Speaking of which, Gary.... :) I met Mark K. over the weekend, we traded some cash and some (well, all) of his space sets and we were talking about it. Scott Sanburn (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Need to know what parts this has!

(URL) was woundering if the bottem of the tank on this truck is a 6x8 peice that would resemble an airplane underbelly but 6 studs wide instead of 4. Any help would be great thanks. Dave (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Austin meet - 8/14?

(...) I don't have a Mindstorms creation currently built, but I have been wanting to make a bipedal walker that could turn (and judging from lugnet.robotics I'm not the only one), this would give me a reason to work on it over the next two weeks.   Re: WTB Train Parts

Whew!!! This whole thread has left me spent and exhausted. I'm glad its over, and I'm glad you guys settled this amicably. I like both of you, and certainly don't like to see bad blood over Lego. For a moment there I thought I was on RTL witnessing (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Can we say, "Plagiarism"?

(...) So, does this mean that your model now belongs to them? Oh, and they won't give it back. :) Mostly kidding, Ben Roller P.S. I tend to agree that misdirected entry means something near "lost in the mail", but who knows. (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
