(...) How are you running NQC? If you are using MacNQC ((URL) under the 'RCX' menu there is "download firmware". A valid firmware file (firm0327.lgo) needs to be in the firmware folder. i got the firmware (firm0328.lgo) and tried to download it to my RCX 1.0, but no luck so far /Users/roc % nqc -Susb -firmfast /Users/roc/LEGO/firm0328.lgo Downloading firmware:......... ......... ......... ....... It's not the only thing that matters, no, but posts to .announce.* and in particular, posts to announce.moc get an upweighting, and posts to .admin.* and .off-topic.* get a downweighting.
