(...) James's current favorite: DZ 123. 1 Amp Continous, 2 Amp peak, 2 accessory outputs, series 3 decoder... (...) Not at all. The lego motors are something like .3 Amp stalled, therefore they are conservatively allowing a 1 A decoder lots of room. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.trains)

Looking for weird, bizarre or otherwise unusual Lego creations for sale!

Hey all, I've been approached by a good friend who's self-publishing a magazine about VERY off-the-beaten-track toys, most of which are designed, executed, produced, and marketed by the artists themselves. Knowing of my fondness for Lego, he asked (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Esoteric Lego history question

Expert Lego historians: I have a rather esoteric question that I have been unable to answer despite rather extensive searching. (...) I am currently going through the L3P code and I have now added support for filenames with spaces, both in linetype 1 and in "0 FILE xxx". It now uses the rest of the line as the filename. It also accepts filenames in double-quotes. /Lars (21 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: What is the Best Starter Train Set? LEGO 65537

  Re: lgauge.com update (DCC)

(...) I had a look at DCC mods for Lego train motors, but people seem to have used N-gauge DCC decoders so that they can fit the decoder inside the motor casing. This may be good from a space saving point of view, but I'm not sure about the power (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: FL9 MOC

(...) Great looking. Nice and wide too! (I'm a fan of larger sizes) Did you have the drawings to help you build the engine?   Re: The two Drakes

These things are kind of goofy looking at the offset, but I really like the feel. In a similar way I didn't like the way of the ED-209 at first, these got a very viceral feel for me. They look like something straight out of a comic book or video (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
