  Re: RIS 2.0 Problems

(...) Yes. I agree. (...) Yes - I agree with that too. The 'fixed set of functions' are the set of byte codes that the Lego firmware supports. How you put those together is a matter of what tools you use to design the robot. NQC does not somehow (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Philippe's Forklift Building Instructions

(...) Hi Iain, I use the famous MLCAD / LPub (all links on ldraw website : (URL) to generate the pictures. Then I use Adobe PhotoShop (an old limited edition is sufficient) to create layout. (I like very much to use layers). I started to use these (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.inst)

  Re: What is this?

  Re: RIS 2.0 Problems

I think that something might be overlooked here? To ensure that all contestants are playing on a level field, it is necessary to ensure they have the same elements for building their competition systems. To do this, it necessarily requires that (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: My Latest MOC: A Little Human

(...) Thanks everyone for your comments and best wishes! It's great to introduce a new LEGO fan :-) (Henry is only a week old, and he probably doesn't realize yet that he's a die-hard fan of the brick). Ok, I'll try not to brainwash the kid. At (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.people)

  Re: .Vignette curator

(...) Thanks Bruce. I said 'tomorrow', when I really meant 'Sunday.' Heh. Nathan and Nelson have been set up as curators. Let me know if there are any problems with this. -Lenny (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Philippe's Forklift Building Instructions

(...) I sat here shaking my head, that is so adorable. It looks so good! A bit of an off-topic question for you, what kind of software package did you use to generate those instructions? They look fantastic! Iain (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.town)

Re: My First Post, and it's a biggun

(...) And here you learn another NEW lesson: What happens when you forget to activate/deactivate FTX before replying ;-) Your MOCs are sooooo NOT fair! :-) You can't just debut AND be a good builder at the same time! This stuff is way too cool. (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Space casino Columbia

Wow, great stuff, Kenn. Very cool idea for ship and well-executed. But what I'm most fond of is your cast of characters. They really bring the joint to life--some of the most fun aliens and humanoid creations I've seen rendered in LEGO. Captures the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: What's the hardest part of an MOC?

(...) For me the hardest part of an MOC is the finishing touches: Getting it to look JUST RIGHT. It can take anything between a few days to many months until I'm 'happy' with it (a subjective phrase indeed). For years before I knew of CAD and all (...)
