I find it handy to use as a "manual override" switch. I have one setup where for whatever reason the touch sensor isn't 100% responsive and when it fails to register the structure begins to tear itself apart. Being able to press the button on the (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I hope not!! I like SW sets and all, but I would like to see more Space themed sets. It sounds a little too impractical and uncalled for. Half of Lego was Space for a time! Would Space Port be considered this, or is it Town? (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)

We (the PNLTC guys) have been thinking about this for a while. How to remotely uncouple cars. great challange. The magnets are so strong that it seems that any upward motion would merely derail the cars (leaving them coupled but laying on their (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

Thumbs up for the remote! While it's true that you can only send 1/2/3 messages, I've written some code to combine these into 5-digit (trigit?) sequences. Because of the possibilty of mis-keying or mis-receiving a sequence, sequences that end with (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)
