This whole GBC hasn't really inspired me at all. But thats what's so good about Lugnet, differing opinions are, if anything, encouraged. Theirs nothing wrong with GBC, but I've found the few posts offering alternatives far more intriguing, (...) (...) Your best bet to get a quick result would probably be to look in some 3D graphics libraries for OpenGL and find working code to get a TT glyph out into a mesh model. Exporting a flat mesh model to LDraw format yourself is not very difficult, (...) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Well, the obvious one is the 8 different 1:87 metal wheeled trucks. Each one piece. But at a more subtle level - the roadsigns and garage have similar single-use pieces now. But the overall balance of Lego parts now is much more multi-use. (21 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)
