  Re: OT: Cordless Phone Suggestions?

(...) We use Uniden TRU-8885 in the house. Costco had a special 3-handset-plus-base pack for a reduced price. Consumer Reports rated it fairly well, and it has each of usability requirements you specified (plus handset speaker and answering machine (...)   Re: Log Cabin

(...) SNIP (...) What can one say? It's just awesome, especially in its size and color! No wonder I don't have too many trans-blue tiles. Like a real log cabin, it seems to need a little dusting, but that goes without saying. It seems to be a little (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New LSynth features (Att. many pics!!!)

(...) Sorry, I'm not familiar with it at all, I've never actually used it. (...) Perhaps we could define a full little meta language with quantifiers like end positions, element types, point masses, area masses, elastic moduli, shear moduli (for (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  MicroMotor Part for Saturday

Hey all, If anyone has one of these: (URL) they would be willing to part with (just one, and I'll pay you whatever you want for it), and will be around on Saturday, could ya let me know? For some reason, with whatever strange brew of sets with (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Log Cabin

(...) Very nice! I particularly like the trees and the way you've blended the colours for the water. It shows a great use for all my palm tree leaves. I hadn't thought what to use them for, since I don't model tropical coastlines! This is one of the (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New LSynth features (Att. many pics!!!)

(...) Aren't these both instances of "Lego String" just with different terminators?? Another instance would be the hose reel itself and termination at the other end into any of a number of different hooks. Those all terminate with a knotted loop (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: New LSynth features (Att. many pics!!!)

(...) Tim, This is awesome! Are you familiar with how synthesis specifications are described for LSynth? I guess I could imagine: 0 SYNTH BEGIN STRINGMESH 0 // add your constraints here 0 SYNTH END The constraints would have to include what the mesh (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: MOC: Florist shop (part two) final stage "The Forest Florist"

Great work. I love the look of the building and the use of the pre-printed brick walls. Great creativity with all the different types of flowers. I look forward to your next MOC. Jason (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Log Cabin

(URL) Hello, all. It's been about three years since I last posted here. That's about the time I started making this cabin. However, I have since moved a couple times and changed careers so was never able to finish it. I always thought the log (...)   Re: BBB wheels

(...) When importing from 3DS files into Max, you need to weld vertices for the model after import. 3DS files contain lots of coincident vertices for historic reasons. "max2dat" (my new name for ase2dat) now has native 3DS support, and handles (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: New LSynth features (Att. many pics!!!)

(...) Hi Kevin, My research is on the deformation of flexible structures (like rods, hoses etc.). I'd be happy to do some work on integrating some of these models into lsynth. If anyone is interested, here is a link to some of my work ((URL)-free (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  OT: Cordless Phone Suggestions?

Re: New LSynth features (Att. many pics!!!)

(...) Hi Willy, Don and I are working on lsynth now. You are right, hoses are restricted to LS00.dat and it is not always the logical choice. I've made both hose and band synthesis descriptions tabular, and also have band constraints as tabular. I (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Soren's School Girl Mech

(...) Soren's work is so far out of my league. As a newbie, it blows my mind. I remember just staring ( wink, wink) at his skank bot. It was so life-like. Now he has another realistic model. I love the thumb tack pictures, it makes them look like (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Widowmaker Mk. II

(...) Kyle, This is a great Mech! I really like the compactness of it. It just has a look of sturdiness and that translates to power. Good job. I really liked the rounded missile bins. I think that is quite inovative to use half a cylinder. It may (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
