Re: Callin' all da ballahs in da house, c'mon

(...) It was actually a quad-turntable. :) I can send it to you when I get home tonight if you like (it USED to be online, before Rogers went to crap... argh!). It in turn was inspired by a machine I saw by IDF, at a plant in Georgia where we (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Velociraptor

(...) Thanks, again. I feel a little bit cheated on my next Mech. Somehow, I guess via e-mail charma, they have quite a resemblance. I guess you have mentored me more than you thought. I like the animalistic references with the cockpit and feet. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: LDraw.org Contributer Agreement Status

(...) I second this. For some reason, Lugnet isn't using my updated email address in my new posts. (Here's a hint: SPROAT.US is gone, SPROAT.NET works.) The ONLY reason I even knew of this thread is because I went ego-surfing on Lugnet today. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: official stores in the Netherlands

(...) Dear Vineet, I do not know of any LEGO Stores in Amsterdam (or elsewhere in the Netherlands). There are however quite a number of toy stores and other stores that sell a large range of LEGO sets: - Intertoys - Bart Smit - Top 1 Toys - (...)   Re: "LEGOLAND - A Half-Life 2 Modification" needs a new name!

LOL Jordan, what a hillarious idea! But perhaps it's too ambitious? The whole building part sounds hard to make (and hard to get people to participate in instead of just going gung-ho), and if you can just pick up detached parts, what stops you from (...) Also, some of the people on the list are still posting here on Lugnet but for whatever reason have not contacted me. This is why I (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Group of green patrol boats

Hello! I have finished a group of small green patrol boats. They are system-scale, usable for minifigs. More and larger images are in this BrickShelf gallery: (2 URLs) See you around, Chris (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce, FTX)

Re: Parts editing made easy (well, easier)

Hi Stefan I don't know anything about neither optional lines or the programs you're converting from, but from a parts reviewers perspective, I'd say that the teapot.ldr looks pretty good. I wouldn't worry so much about automatic subpart generation. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Parts editing made easy (well, easier)

(I posted this to lugnet.cad toplevel, but considering the total lack of response, I decided to try it down here in .dev instead, where I got all that nice feedback for my last post.)   Re: Cloud City Shuttle

Nice MOC! My question is why the twin pod design? I've always wondered what the purpose of a twin pod design in the cloud car has if there is only one engine between the two. I could see a benefit to the car if the pods were detachable, but one (...) (21 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: [OT] How large would Executor-class SSD appear?

Not too geeky for me! I love this sort of stuff; it helps us visualize our lego models. Accurate measurements help in the design process. Keep it up! (21 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.geek)
