Re: new contest proposal (Pat's comments)

Hi David, Sorry I didn't respond to the newsgroup but my html client won't connect to lugnet (or anything else outside Motorola). I'll forward this msg to lugent when I can or you can do it) (...)   Re: RIS version 1.5 coming this fall

Accually, what I wish RIS 1.5 would contain would be Radio instead of IR. I have been trying to design some kind of adapter for my RCX and IR tower to do this so I can use my Real Time Control program to an extreme. I mean, IR, it is only direct (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Art Deco (Moderne) buildings using log bricks.

I've been playing with some of those log bricks lately (mostly tan or white), and when you stack them up, they give a nice "Art Deco" appearance that a lot of old buildings in the 1920's and 1930's have - sort of a "Terra Cotta" sculptured look that (...)   Re: New SW contest proposal

not that I'd join in on this, right now I don't have the time to build much and I'm already running short on the halloween contest... though I have a couple things to say: 1. I don't know you from Adam... Maybe you just haven't posted much, or (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New SW contest proposal

Well, how would this sound. The contest would be open to both "official entries" and "unofficial entries". Those who choose to pay the entry fee would be eligible for the cash prize, and those who just want to enter for the "prestige" would not be. (...)   Re: repost of: ATV with rubber band suspension

Very neat little model. Blake, sometimes it takes time for people to get around looking at models, so don't be upset if you don't get any comments right away or at all. It doesn't mean that people don't like your model, but that they either don't (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Weird and Unusual stuff

I would recommend you breaking up the set of items into smaller groupings. Keep the space stuff separate, and possibly even sell the gold bricks individually. As for eBay versus LUGNET auction, I am partial so I won't comment. I would be interested (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Would it cost the same to get $5.00 in american currency? For such a small amount, it would not be such a big deal to send cash in the mail. -Dave Jr. (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

repost of: ATV with rubber band suspension  [DAT]

I posted this a while ago but nobody responded. I know it's not much to look at but, it's great to what I can do if you build it. I built this model last year and decided to post it.
