I'd say the buyers here are better informed, but you're always going to find
more "deep pockets" on eBay because of its exposure. While eBay can give you
that, it also does not prevent sniping, thereby possibly doing you out of more
money than an auction with no fixed end.
I couldn't say whether I'd participate cuz my Lego dollars are very fluid but
there are a few space nuts (like me :-) that'd love those 6x8 trans-yellow
plates.
And yes, for auctioning on lugnet, the lugnet.market.auction group would be
the place. Only trades and straight sales in this group.

| I would recommend you breaking up the set of items into smaller groupings. Keep the space stuff separate, and possibly even sell the gold bricks individually. As for eBay versus LUGNET auction, I am partial so I won't comment. I would be interested (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
