Re: Looking for a one-way motor drive mechanism that is foolproof.

(...) Here (URL) is one compact arrangement using the sliding worm gear that should do the trick. Just connect the output shafts with two 16t gears and I think they will work the way you want...or if one is still going backwards, use three 8t (one (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: The Great Ball Contraption V3

(...) In our latest gathering, Tom invited us to his house. Turns out, we have more ball contraptions than Tom has table space in his basement. So, we moved the tables, and set-up on the floor. Of course the next problem was that I couldn't fit the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What is happening with SciBrick??

(...) Lenny, I think the streamlining of the mission statement is a step in a good direction, blazing a path that is more clearcut from the start, so to speak.   Re: Two new mountain bikes

Cool! That BMW suspension does exist on some real MTB's but you kknow that already right? Not to fond of the pedals and the saddle is not very accurate I'm afraid. Barends is not that common on full suspension bikes either, but that comes down to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Modular RC kits?

(...) receive signals so cheaply -- In the Far East, a cheap RC car costs $4 retail. Wholesale must be half that! Someone's making HUGE profits. But in a $4 (or $25 in the US) car, all you get is bang-bang control (i.e. simple on/off). A $40 (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Ambassadors Selected!

In the last few weeks, some 60 applications have submitted for the LEGO Ambassador Program. Jag lirar hellre ULV än Brickwars. Tror tröskeln för att sätta sig in i brickwars är för hög för att det ska bli lika tokroligt som ULV.
