Re: The Great Ball Contraption V3

(...) In our latest gathering, Tom invited us to his house. Turns out, we have more ball contraptions than Tom has table space in his basement. So, we moved the tables, and set-up on the floor. Of course the next problem was that I couldn't fit the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Berretti logo classic space: buone + brutte

(21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: What is happening with SciBrick??

(...) Lenny, I think the streamlining of the mission statement is a step in a good direction, blazing a path that is more clearcut from the start, so to speak. I can recall sitting in the Mosaic room at Brickfest '03 and hearing about SciBrick for (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.scibrick, FTX)

  Re: Two new mountain bikes

Cool! That BMW suspension does exist on some real MTB's but you kknow that already right? Not to fond of the pedals and the saddle is not very accurate I'm afraid. Barends is not that common on full suspension bikes either, but that comes down to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Modular RC kits?

(...) receive signals so cheaply -- In the Far East, a cheap RC car costs $4 retail. Wholesale must be half that! Someone's making HUGE profits. But in a $4 (or $25 in the US) car, all you get is bang-bang control (i.e. simple on/off). A $40 (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Meeting Notes Jan 30

(...) Salut! Hey guys, l@@ks like the meeting was a blast and I'm sorry I missed it. ;-( The Jersey Central logo looks terrific and I think the Toll Booth idea is excellent! ;-) And Patty, that's one heck of a collection and building space!   Re: Market Day at the Castle

  Ambassadors Selected!

In the last few weeks, some 60 applications have submitted for the LEGO Ambassador Program. For a program that has only just started, and has no tangible benefits (at the time of announcement), that's beyond amazing. Thank you to every single person (...)   Re: SWELUG 7, RFC! Was:Re: -Går in och bryter tystnaden-

(21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

Re: Looking for a one-way motor drive mechanism that is foolproof.

(...) While the differential sounds like a good idea, I'm not sure that will actually work well, either. Assuming you want axle 'A' on the conveyor belt to always drive forward, you can connect a motor to a differential. The diff. will have two (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Latest MOC: F/A-18 Hornet

(...) Very nice and detailed! I love it. Now, if only someone could figure out how to build a plane in a space about 2 studs by 1 stud... Then it'd fit on my aircraft carrier. It looks very swooshable, and the total studlessness of it rocks. Great (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: Looking for a one-way motor drive mechanism that is foolproof.

Well, I want to make sure that the drive mechanism doesn't accidentally try to start the wrong way, and try to either feed material into the hopper base, which is hard to clean out if I have to make it easily removable, or jam and stall the motor (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Looking for a one-way motor drive mechanism that is foolproof.
