  Re: Those RC car motors

(...) Calum and I used the RC motors in our remote control robot for live2, where we used it to beat you. :) (URL) motors were used to drive the 4 bar linkage which flipped you over on your back many times. (Steves balls.) Iain (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Anyone read Danske Modelbiler?

(...) Hey Darrell, Nice advertisement. This is the first time I have seen the 1:43 trucks advertised with Lego bricks. Since this is the mid-1950's, the bricks were slotted bricks.   Those RC car motors

they are IIRC, high speed. Has anyone used them as a drive motor in a robot? (AND dave if you tell me about your babrie doll car I will mock you) did you gear them? (yes i know there are 2 holes/speeds) or are these better suited for the RC car and (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

this isnt going to get any better. Between Iain, and Janey, this place is going to get some abusive-power-hungry admin types to have ALL of rtl banned. oh look; a dead horse. smack, take that! smack!   Dawsonville LEGO Outlet Store closing :(

For those of you who didn't know the Dawsonville Georgia LEGO Outlet store is being closed (this is the first US LEGO Outlet opened in Oct. 1999). (...) Onomatopoeic! Ya, that's the word. The cool thing about discombobulated is that it's not a sound like traditional onomatopoeic words, but it still conveys its meaning through its sound. Derek (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) That's a small triangle! Side lengths: 0.0684 0.0671 0.0132 The reason it doesn't show in L3Lab is that you have color coded it in your file! Back in 1998 PovRay would crash if it was given a triangle with collinear vertices and a texture (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)
