Re: GMLTC at the NMRA National Convention

Yes, as J1 said, we awed them. We literally are a crowd stopper. And when I say *we*, I mean it in the larger sense, as in all of us who build cool things out of Lego. What was so impressive was not anything we did specifically, but that we did it (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

RE: CyberMaster tracks (was Re: LEGO Lawn-mover)

Cybermaster has a wider variety of parts than Mindstorms. Except for the unique tracks, with the wheels and one-piece frames for mounting them, these parts can also be found in various other Technic sets. Examples are: - a rubber tipped (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Interactive human-controlled bots

(...) That's the remote control I was talking about. There is only one RCX remote control. Only three of the buttons on the remote control are useable as commands to a running RCX program. All the other buttons either cause the program to stop or (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  RE: Interactive human-controlled bots

The three buttons on the remote control simply send messages 1, 2, and 3. These are the only buttons that send IR codes that can be processed by your RCX program. All the other buttons send codes that get processed directly by the firmware, and will (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Uk Technic Box

I second that thought, but perhaps though, the UK user base isn't big enough for a specific Technic box, just one general box with a good mix? Regards, Dave.
