  Re: The LDraw.org Contributer Agreement

(...) So far it only looks like you're blocked from uploading new parts until you do, but i guess that doesn't apply to orphan parts. -NB (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Lego Racers Pull Back motors

(...) Hi Patrick, I haven't ripped these particular motors apart, but I have done a few others (my students used to drag race 5223s and some of the smaller "import" motors). I can only tell you from my experience: - It's not uncommon for two (...) (21 years ago, 27-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Iron Reich Telemarketers

So you were tired with empty shells? Excellent job! Great details and lighting. At first the telemarketing strategy seemed ill conceived as there's a lot of us out here that'd love to have a phonecall from guys selling decent stuff: Do the Reich (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pre Classic Space has a home on the web...

  Re: Explorovore

(...) Lets just hope that evolution works fast enough to save those cuties - extinction is forever! But I suspect that the Reich is giving them a helping hand as we speak. -NB (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Costco

(...) As a McDonald's stockholder, I object! Plus they look funny in your pants and the red and yellow striping clashes with most decor. (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Why buy straws when they are free at McDonalds? -Rob A> (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) We just got a Costco here and it seems Sam's is cheaper on stuff we've spot checked, has that been your experience there too? For instance, we priced some folding chairs, Target wanted 24, Costco wanted 17 for similar, and Sam's had the EXACT (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) "Anyone" being the operative word, sadly I have a highly addictive personality, with oral fixations. I would be up to a five straw a day habit with in a week, I'm sure. For now, I think I will avoid it, besides, the smell of melting plastic is (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Or what about the days when you use less?! 10,000 straws ought to be enough for anyone. Calum (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Oops sorry, I'm a week ahead of myself. (...) No, it's something at Costco, I highly doubt it would be duplicated at Sam's. Derek (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Wait a minute, if I had a straw a day habit, that only gives me just over 27 more years, and truly, I want more then that!!! What about the days I want to use more then one straw??? Janey "Would you like fries with that straw? Red Brick" (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Because it wouldn't be this Friday, it would be next Friday, being usually the second Friday of the month, barring whatever excuse I can think of to move it. I don't have a Costco membership. If you're looking for Lego, then no, but if you (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

(...) That's awesome! Once again you've created another brilliant alternate MOC from a designer set. I'm running out of complimentary adjectives to use. Simply amazing! Please keep building and sharing these with us. I love the operational details (...)   Re: Stairs built with 1/10 offset

(...) Cool. Thoa I have to say, the "stairs" appear as more of a ramp than steps to me. Mostly that is because Lego is so blocky, that when I see slight blockiness I guess I let my eyes smooth it out. Anyway, maybe its just me. Love the MOC thoa. (...)   Re: Minifig-scale China Clipper flying boat complete!

(...) Thanks Joe. Those sponsons (the winglets along the bottom of the hull) were a big kludge...I didn't have enough corner slopes to do what I really wanted. Next time I'll use triangular plates on the ends! I'll try that dihedral idea also, (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jan-05, to lugnet.build)

  Costco

Does anyone in the group have a Costco membership, is coming to dinner this Friday (Assuming we are having dinner this Friday, wouldn't want to step on anyones toes by suggesting we are having dinner this Friday before any official announcement. :-) (...) 1. We tend to frown on cursing here. You should watch that, it's gotten posting ability revoked before. 2. This really doesn't belong in .general. 3. For the benefit of all reading, I would like to note that you were banned at CSF for lying about (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Shop.lego.com broken for Mozilla and Safari on Mac

(...) I'm having the same problem with Firefox on Win XP Pro. Glad to hear this isn't an isolated problem. Disappointed to hear it affects Mac as well, won't help me to trying to order from home.
