  Re: 10152 Update

(...) Well put, Kelly! Their considering AFOL input is a huge privilege for us. They're not going to just sit on their hands and do everything AFOLs tell them to do. It seems there are too many people here who believe that when LEGO does things (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: SPARTAN MK 1 My entry for the Military Hover-Vehicle Contest

(...) Anthony Thanks. In some of the shots I put the tank on a narrow black pedestal and photographed it in front of buildings with lost of vertical shadows. The intent was to camouflage the supporting bricks. On accident, my pics came out so dark (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: SPARTAN MK 1 My entry for the Military Hover-Vehicle Contest

(...) Mr. Moray, Keith gets over excited very quickly when threatened. I called his mom, and it turns out that when he saw SPARTAN, he simply flew into a panic (he even lost his asthma inhaler). When frightened, it’s not un-common for Keith to lash (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ribbed hoses synth

(...) Hi All, Happy holidays. I made LSynth's source code open from the beginning, in case someone better at math than I might take a swing at it. It has never really made it past the proof of concept stage. Feel free to make additions.... I just (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: MPD Builder ?

(...) I like it. (...) I thought I fixed this problem a long time ago. Do you experience the same problem with LDDP? (...) I tested with LDView 3.0b. What version are you using? (...) I'm working on this. (...) Hmm, the way I work it is to have the (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: 10152 Update

(...) I fear the end of the wrld is coming my friends, because I actually agree 100% with John here. But I think it's not surprising coming from TLC that they broke their promise. We've seen a change of corporate attitude in the last years that aint (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: 10152 Update

(...) Agreed 100%. I don't wander out of the woodwork too often these days (and this is liable to change very soon--glory of glories, I get my collection back in MI close to New Years', and will have all 1400lb. in one place again), but the (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: 10152 Update

Thanks for the update Jake, and for yet again braving the criticism of those who only ever seem to see the negative side of things. I think in this instance, TLG were damned if they did and damned if they didn't. If they'd never said that the set (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: 10152 Update

(...) Every time I seriously wonder to myself 'why do I torture myself with reading LUGNET anyways? [1]' it seems a gem like this pops up from someone like Kelly. He's not the only one who does 'em, but I just love how he puts stuff in perspective. (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

Military Moc Pages - Alive Again!!!

Greetings, I hate broken links and I've been guilty of having a broken link to my build.military MOC pages for a while. Well I've moved my site finally, and it's fixed! Thanks to the curator! Marc Cook's Military MOCS - home of the Lego UHC (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: 10152 Update

(...) Thanks for the update, Jake! After reading the various whining about "broken promises" in this thread, remember this: circumstances changed as they often do in life. Maersk wanted more of that set. They were willing to pony up to get it. Side (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX) !

  Micro roundhouse

As the builder hasn't announced it here I thought I would draw your attention to this micro-scale roundhouse, its very cool. It even looks like the turntable actually works (URL) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Sticker torsos for LL924 ?

(...) Thanks for the info, apparently at least the 928 was indeed produced again with printed torsos, because I have definitely seen that close up in original condition, printed, no stickers, and I own nice and shiny original copies of a couple of (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Coming to Kalamazoo

(...) D-Man-- I'd like to drive up from Chicago for the day, but after Christmas looks far better to me than before. I'm booked the 23rd, but free the 26th and 27th. -Tim (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

  Simple locking mechanism

Hi, I have rather large 'doors' which tend to open by theirselves. I need something small (2x2x2 studs max) and simple which would lock the doors in close position. I think about usage of friction, I definitly wouldn't like something which creates (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

Argumentative paper I wrote for College

Hello, I was recently given the opportunity to write an argumentative research paper on any topic I wanted so, of course, LEGO® was an obvious choice. Basically, I wrote about what I did and didn't like about the company and what I'd do to change (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Coming to Kalamazoo

Right now, December 23, 26, and 27 look good for me. Maybe 2-3 hours during lunchtime. I don't have an answer on whether Fanfare will let us meet there. I told my friend that if they ask "what's in it for us," that the answer is we intend to be (...) (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

  Re: BrickQuest first questions

(...) Upon further reflection, I've decided you're right... since critical hits don't add extra damage, they just set a minimum damage, it's not going to upset game balance or add power to already powerful-in-combat characters to define critical hit (...)   Re: Sears 25% off, Walmart boxing week deal

(...) At a Sears here in Edmonton, I noticed they have a stack of the red 1000 piece tubs market on sale at $20.00 (so you can't get 25% more off). (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Memories..la...di...da

(...) Its not in the renders (URL) From my Nana for Christmas. I had a lot of the smaller sets but the the big one I remember is from the second generation. (URL) If I built it today it would be trans blue grey and tan! Tim (21 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
