Hi,

I have rather large 'doors' which tend to open by theirselves. I need
something small (2x2x2 studs max) and simple which would lock the doors
in close position. I think about usage of friction, I definitly wouldn't
like something which creates large tension, because there is not enough
space for cross-beams.

Thanks,
Jindroush

(...) Hi Jindroush, I would try magnets. If it's a really large door maybe 2, but otherwise 1 would probably suffice. ROSCO (20 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Think 2 pieces of string and counterweights made of 1x1 to 2x2 bricks...especially if it's a castle! (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)
