  Re: I must leave...

(...) Oh Kevin, far from it. I didn't want to get involved, but I was refering to Lee. But no more of this from me. As I said, now we all know who was wrong (especially himself). Sorry for the misunderstanding! Blay On, Devin (21 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Dear .Space I luv ya!!!!

Ok I've just said my part on the bickering so no more on that. I've come here with a 100% positive message. I've only started posting here recently; but I've looked through MOCs on here and on Brickshelf for a couple of years. I love .space. I've (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: I must leave...

I have to say my bit. I'm brand new here. I've posted one MOC, which I hope some of you enjoyed. ANyway, if people are being idiots here I have to remember one thing, we're all nerds here. We're adults who play with Lego. We know whats fun and we (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: I must leave...

(...) You know, it's remarkably easy to ignore most of the bickering, whining, complaining, and rabble rousing and focus on the MOCs. I've done it for years. But, if you have leave, well, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Oh, and to any (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Pneumatic Arm

(...) Yes it is surprisingly sturdy - I even built one with just #12 axles and no diagonal bracing, and it worked very well. But they allowed significant twisting, it wasn't enough to make them fail but I wouldn't like to push it. (URL) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: I must leave...

  Re: I must leave...

(...) Hi. From the way you write this, I fear that you are insinuating that I am to blame for this. I am given this impression by the fact that you single out my post, not the thread as a whole. This gives the impression that my post is symptomatic (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: I must leave...

(...) This sort of thing happens in any online forum, anywhere you go. Adults usually don't act like adults. This is a fact of life. I think almost all of us are guilty of making at least one post that could be considered childish or rash. If you (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  I must leave...

I can't take it anymore! I have noticed a stream of immaturity and bickering that has gone too far. First, there are the SciBrick incidents. I can't understand what is going on here. The members involved were some of the most highly respected AFOL's (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Pneumatic Arm

(...) Actually the only problem I encountered was a slight twist weakness in the very top and very bottom segments and the physical stress limits (vertically) of the Axles... I didn't actually reinforce it with beams at all.. looked awesome and (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Custom Space: Obsidian Stealth Strike Craft for sale - The Brickee Mart

Well... all righty. Being the original creator of this model, let me first say that I'm oddly flattered that someone thinks enough of my design to... well, steal it. On that note, dude, you stole my work. And despite my big, hairy, tough 22-year-old (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

  Re: large technic hook

(...) I have one hook I got in a 2nd hand lot that showed some signs of corrosion. I'm not sure what caused it, but I rubbed it with methylated spirit and it came up good as new. ROSCO (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic Arm

(...) That construction would be fine if the "beams" are always in compression, but because the diagonals all slope the same way in each section, it would be prone to twisting failure if you're not careful. ROSCO (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Where from this coupling comes?

(...) It's a standard train coupling that was used in the late 60's. It comes with piece number 3176 (plate 3x2 with hole) or 737 (plate 2x4 with coupling, female). Examples: sets 80, 111, 112, 113, 116, 117, 903,... We had set 112, so I remembered (...) (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Where from this coupling comes?

Hi! I've got such old couplings: (URL) More (really not more...) on Peeron: (URL) Do somebody know where those couplings were used? How old are they? What is their possible value (are they rare or not)? Thank you very much for each reply! Luca (21 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
