  Re: Taz

(...) There might be some drool on the model, but it would probably be mine! Glue fumes, you know? Does strange things........ Dang, I'm drooling now! Need a tissue..... Bill (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Taz

(...) Thanks Derek! The piece count isn't too high. The majority of the bricks are from the brown brick service pack with some brown plate from Legoland pic-a-brick thrown in. But unfortunately I can't sell them. With copyrighted images I can make (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Halving the colours in the palette - Lego Life Sept 2004

(...) I definatly concur. There are very few sets that can be labeled "Space" that I would not buy if they were reissued. Anything from a theme pre-dating Spyrius would be a "Must Buy" definatly. Anything from later themes (e.g. Explorians, Spyrius (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Taz

(...) Yes sir, you are correct! I was talking about the turntable, and none were available on bricklink. Although I think a few have made it into the hands of the general public. Not mine unfortunately! Bill (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Couple Bryce Rollins models built up and uploaded.

(...) Brian, Great pictures. Bryce's models are great. Don't stop at the AC-130, I need to see you do his B-52 in ABS. Haven't spoken with him in a while. Hope all is well with everyone in this forum. I've only made his A-7 so far. Still (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: source for 1 x 12 technic beams in red?

(...) I got a bunch of 1x12 red technic bricks at pick a brick at Legoland and imagination center in CA. If you don't have access to a pick a brick that has any, I would say bricklink. I've always had good success buying on bricklink. Mark (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Coming to Kalamazoo

(...) Makes sense, shouldn't be a big deal to meet in Kalamazoo. (...) Fanfare is in the same complex as Rider's, although they are not next to each other. They moved a store or two down within the last two years. The folks at Fanfare are pretty (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

  Re: Coming to Kalamazoo

(...) Hehe, it happens! Nik's a spacer through and through, so I feel your pain. So is your son coming with? I can try to remember to bring my copy of Kevin Wilson's LEGO Thomas(1) and cars and track and stuff (although setting up in a restaurant (...)   Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

(...) Kevin- That's an unsolved problem for us that gets worse when we are in a hurry and as the layout gets larger. When we are not rushed, we losen the bolts a little and jiggle things until the square tables just fall into place. For our current (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Nice Viper

(...) Hi all, This is my first post on lugnet, so don't blame me if anything goes wrong :-) First of all, thank you for the complements on my cadwork, I plan on selling this model in the future, so I don't publish the actual file yet. Therefore, all (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

(...) I should point out that at SCLTC, we initially provided spring clamps for temporary connection ($0.99 each) or until bolts were installed, but decided that they really were not necessary. We use wing nuts and just fasten the bolts finger (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

(...) Kevin- I agree totally that making tables is -- or can be -- a lot of work. If all we ever did with the tables was set them up at matching heights at a show and then lay LEGO on them, it would definitely NOT be worth it. What does make it (...)   Re: Inspiration

(...) Thanks for sharing. Does this site work under Firefox? I mousedover as instructed, then tried clicking, but didn't see much beyond the text boxes changing. Certainly no pics! Or was I just too impatient or something? (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Have a look at the book "The Unofficial Guide to LEGO Mindstorms" from Knudsen / Noga published by O'Reilly.   Question about Lego Mindstorms Infrared Protocol.

Hello, From (URL) site I got the description of the RCX infrared protocol. Now I tried to send the opcode for a double beep, I calculated the following: Opcode: 5901 (beep beep) binary = 01010101 11111111 00000000 01011001 10100110 00000001 (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: In preparation for BrickFest '05

(...) I note that the loco in those pictures is not cloaked in Lego parts however. That was the hardest part for me. The front is made from two "6091 - Brick, Modified 2 x 1 x 1 1/3 with Curved Top". Of course, they got "adjusted" along with some of (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)
