Re: first mecha from my "protege"

Well done! The shape and style of this Mecha is very cool! I think it has cool features and uses very cool parts. All the cool things I would like to see on a Mech have been done very nicely on this creation. A super looking model! e (21 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  first mecha from my "protege"

i have been given permission to post this moc from an up-and-coming young lad in the lego mecha business. he goes by "chopper dave" and has been looking to me for advice in mecha building. his first moc is a gundam and he has taken a few ideas from (...)   Re: Lego in subdomains, legal or not?

(...) Yes, using the word "LEGO" anywhere in the domain or sub-domain is a no-no. It's the full Internet address as you quote from the Fair Play, not just the root domain. Confusion about ownership of the site can still result even if "LEGO" is in (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

  lego model ideas

Hey y'all- I have been looking at the lego technic models that have been on the market (like set 8436 or 8868 for example) and a thought occured to me. I don't know if this thought is proper discussion for the Technic section, but here goes. Has (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: PCS AGENA 1/B Cruiser

Very nice. I'm especially fond of the interior detail -- realistic looking environment for control and engine room stuff. BTW, don't let Baby Admiral be too much of a hinderance. I've got 3 boys and I'm only at 31. Mind you, I'm lucky to get out two (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: anyone know where I can find this part in australia?

(...) I have some...but you can't have them :^P The 6180 may be on a toystore shelf somewhere in Australia, but that sounds a rather expensive option. Who knows, someone in loc.au may want to rid themselves of one. (...) I wondered what you were (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Wheels and train wheels with metal axles

(...) Now I am aware of the non existence of x245c01 (with normal axle). I didn't know that before you posted about it a short time ago. It's the 7039 wheel that came with both types of axles (I have both). I will fix the incorrect versions when all (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Why NQC over Robolab?

(...) I'm actually quite familiar w/Robolab--it is NQC that I don't know much about. Robolab (2.5.x) supports The RCX, Scout, microscout, and the Control Lab Interface. It also supports the LEGO cam. I believe the demo is of a much earlier and buggy (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Wheels and train wheels with metal axles

(...) Actually, James had some of the same issues that we are trying to deal with now because at first he did not know that 7039 was the official part number for the 4-stud wheel with its axle. In 1998-05 he issued 479.dat and 479a.dat. 7039 did not (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Lego in subdomains, legal or not?

(...) Another way to look at this is, what if someone created the sub-domain www.bugge.porn.com Would you consider that fair play? I doubt you could do anything about it legally, but if someone did that to me I would consider it very rude. ROSCO (21 years ago, 8-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)
