i have been given permission to post this moc from an up-and-coming young lad in
the lego mecha business. he goes by "chopper dave" and has been looking to me
for advice in mecha building. his first moc is a gundam and he has taken a few
ideas from my rgm with my permission and oversight. so i thought i'd post his
first mecha moc since he has not joined lugnet, yet. please let him know what
you think. constructive criticism is welcome, as always, so long as the smack
is reserved for veteran builders whose established work and sense of humor
allows them the capability to take such abuse (we want the young bucks to be
encouraged, not demoralized). and now, i am proud and pleased to introduce the
"RGM-79S GM S.W.A.T. Type":

| Well done! The shape and style of this Mecha is very cool! I think it has cool features and uses very cool parts. All the cool things I would like to see on a Mech have been done very nicely on this creation. A super looking model! e (20 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| (...) XP--tone down the orange and black and crank up the sand blue. Love the hand-held weapons (design tips from Jason?) You got some nice shaping on the chest and shoulders, without letting it get bulky from too many parts. I especially like the (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
