(...) Finally :) (...) Either of the first two Saturdays would be the best. I am going to whistler in Feb, but probably near the end of the month. (...) Yup, I think the small blacks will be cool. Its nice how they are actually cubic. (...) I saw (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Block STACKING - feb 2005?

OK, now that you train freaks have THAT out of your system, lets get back to what lego is all about. ROBOTS I guess I have to actually CALL and book the library. I'm taking requests for which sat people might want? I've been playing with these (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: LMHoF Published in Brickmasters Magazine

(...) snippity snip (...) Hey Mark, Congrats to all of you guys that were featured in the article. It was pretty awesome seeing all the mechs in a double-wide fold out. Rad! Question: Did you guys have to bring your MOCs somewhere to be photographed (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: Killer Whale Hovercraft

Memories, memories..... I don't want to bother you with that... Wonderfull MOC Gil! At first glance it looks basic, but plenty of details caught my attention : the propeller and the rudders, the guns on top of the craft, the mines (are they mines?) (...)   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Dave, Gray actually goes back to the 1950's. I have a 10x20 thick baseplate in gray without "Lego" on the studs (pre 1957). The 10x20 baseplates first came out in 1953, but I cannot confirm that they started in gray that year. The next (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: Captain Cool-Guy: The Expanded Universe

(...) Of course! Captain Cool-Guy has to stop Dr. D's evil plot to dominate the world with his mice minions....but he has to convince Major Attitude he's serious :-) howzat? And where's lunch? Chow! That Joe Meno Guy (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

Bruce: (...) The cement truck is actually my favorite :) I was thinking of the newer-style trucks, (or is it just a different design?), where the mixer is reversed and hangs over the cab. I see a lot more of them nowadays - either it's the "latest (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: work in progress | more pictures and information

Ohyeah! Im back again! As I told you in october, things will change! Hows your holiday btw? Sofar I have reached my goals, a fully operational model. I will have to redesign the stick as it is tiltable, but that shouldn't be to hard since its (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

mid-'80s Shop-At-Home catalogs now in Bricklink catalog

Hi there, I finally got around to scanning in some of my old SAH catalogs (then called just "Mail Order Service") and uploading them to the Bricklink catalog. CHeck out stuff added 11/22 here: (URL) one or even three people will be interested in (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  A Turkey Day Thanks

Hey all, The big day where we all gobble the gobbler is almost here, and I've composed a few lines of thanks that I'll be reading when my family sits down to dine. Before I get to the text, you'll need a little backstory first. This will be our (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Captain Cool-Guy: The Expanded Universe

(...) The rat only took one night to build- as compared to about a week and a half for the others. Actually, Major attitude is my favorite, but her picks came out the worst. I think it was my choice of a yellow background. What can you do? I have (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Captain Cool-Guy: The Expanded Universe

(...) Dr Dopamine is actually a spoof on my boss. Elements of the character are poking fun of things inside the lab. But the funny thing is that I showed him the picture and he said the same things. "I love it. Lets make a poster of it and hang it (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Captain Cool-Guy: The Expanded Universe

(...) Thanks. Working at this scale has been a fun experience. I certainly look at the potential of pieces in a new way (probably the same thing a lot of micro builders are saying). Felix (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: to LEGO factory : You are not being fair.

It does look like the week 1 winner that violated the size rule and at least seemingly the voting system was removed. The container ship is currently listed as the week 1 winner. Bruce (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: 2 Micro MOCs : Heavy Haulers & Shell gas station

Hey Sean, Nice MOCs. I'm not as big a fan of the cement truck (it looks a bit like a mobile missile launcer to me) (perhaps the cement part should be angled the opposite direction?), but I really like the other two trucks in that setup. I actually (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: Killer Whale Hovercraft

(...) It looks great! Having the toy, I have been wanting to build one myself. I have a couple of suggestions if you trying to make it a little more accurate. You could make the missle launchers smaller, just by using 2x4 bricks and sticking the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Hi Jan-Tore, It seems you are back again. The FH is impressive. It is always a pitty the pneumatics are far too weak. But I think it is a very heavy model. I saw your TGA as well. As far as I know you are the first one with a 1:13 TGA. Greetings (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Some 2005 sets showing up already in regular stores.

(...) The headllights aren't stickers. The headlights are printed slopes, and everything else is stickers. It's very weird. You've probably opened yours by now, but thought I'd put it out there. -Dan Rubin (21 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2005, FTX)
