Hook Coupling 737c01.dat and 444.dat train wheel.

Hi all, to draw a model, which I own for over 5 years, I have now done CAD files for the 60ies hook coupling and the 60ies 4.5 train waggon wheel with riffles. Now at last I was able to render the "Esso promotional set 121". The result can be seen (...) (21 years ago, 21-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.trains)

  Re: New mod

(...) They did do it once, many years ago! If you haven't seen this before, check out: (URL) more specifically: (URL) neatest thing about the piece is that it's actually a small picture of a top-down view of the ship itself, so they probably (...)   Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) [Snip - quality issues] (...) I can imagine, that a wild mix of used bricks from 196x till nineties have different clutch forces and similar tolerance spread as the plates now. But if you took only bricks of one colour and type out of one type (...) (21 years ago, 21-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

"Rob Hendrix" <rob.removebeforesen...msltc.org> wrote in message news:I7HMM4.L91@lugnet.com... (...) For a real challenge, why not try and sell the idea to LEGO? I bet they'd take a sniff at it, at any rate! ;-) Cheers ... Geoffrey Hyde (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.space)

  Re: TRU specials

If you do some piece research, you'll find that these are most likely production overruns from current or recently-discontinued sets. I haven't found pieces in the three I bought that are in sets older than 2000. As for the pink, that's probably (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Q 'bout Space Wheels contest

Ok, so the MOC must use at least one wheel to get around. I'm guessing that wouldn't apply to a piece that is meant to be a wheel but is being used as a sort of hover-engine thingy. No matter, I'll post pictures of this little bot very soon! Dave (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Mobile Party Palace (Space Wheels Contest Entry)

(...) Of course it can steer! The mpp houses a large, horizontally mounted, flywheel in it's base. To turn right the flywheel spins left, imparting a turning force in the opposite direction, much like a helicopter, which needs a tailrotor to stop (...)   Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Hi Ben, while those stacks look bad, I don't see any stacks of older plates beside them to compare. I stacked my older bricks and found much variation, I would be interested to see your findings. A lot of people say LEGO tolerances have become (...)   Re: Appraisal of Old Style Lego

(...) Kinda depends on what specifically you've got-- some stuff like basic brick isn't terribly valuable, but other things are very valuable. Also depends on how much you've got. If you're buying a general "lot", new Lego typically goes for $0.10 (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Hello Isaac Thank you so much for taking the time to post. I greatly appreciate it. (...) I'm flattered that you'd go to such trouble. A bit boggled, mind you, but flattered. :) (...)   Re: WIP - New Mini Dropship

Hey Miklos, You may not be totally satisfied with it, but I think it looks great! The shape is very interesting, especially the large "fin" on the underside. The assymetry of the greebling is also excellent. I tend to ignore assymetry in my designs (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad, lugnet.build.microscale)

Hello, thanks for all of the input. To answer some common suggestions: 1. No, the files were not write-protected nor read-only 2.   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

Thank you for addressing this. I was similarly irritated while reading some of the responses to the universal color list. And was motivated to write a rude response to some of the negative comments, but I knew that would not solve anything. I feel (...) (21 years ago, 20-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)
