  Re: .adventurers needs your help!

(...) Here is my Brickshelf Gallery: (URL) It contains my Adventures of Johnny Thunder series, of which there will hopefully soon (think Thanksgiving weekend) be a new addition. My Brickshelf ID (and on most other forums I frequent) is Athos (...) (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  TUESDAY MORNING

Tuesday Morning is having a 25% off sale. Each store has a different selection. For example the Spider Man lab set was going to $12.99 at KB while it was listed at TM for 14.99 - 25% comes to 11.XX. Not a huge savings, but a just enough to make it (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Tatsumaki

Welcome! Wow what a first Mech to post! I know this is not your first Mecha Construction, but I still want to wlecome you to lugnet.build.mecha! Yikes, this Mech is super cool. I think the style and form are great. The colors are all new and the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Sort-of-poll: Your most common Lego dream?

(...) I have also had those dreams of finding a treasure trove of parts. Especially when I was collecting red bricks for my huge red brick house. Numerous times, I would dream that I would go up to my attic and find a box of old Lego bricks left by (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New MOC: Taimatsu Racer

(...) I forgot to shoot the eyepiece better- I don't think there are any pictures that actually show it clearly in front of the pilot's eye. That's a little detail I've tried to put on other ships and never really gotten right before. It worked out (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Medium stone and light gray

(...) Medium Stone and Dark Stone are names that peeron uses, and obtained from a list supplied by TLC. Medium Stone = MdStone = Light Bluish Gray (BrickLink name) Dark Stone = DkStone = Dark Bluish Gray (BrickLink name) There is a subtle difference (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: How does the voting at the Lego Factory Competition work?

(...) This does seem awfully odd. It's still number one, with almost twice as many votes as the next runner-up. And it's a garbage image. But there's nothing in the rules that say you can't have all your friends vote for yours, no matter how (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Taimatsu Racer

(...) The opening is one of my favorite bits as well. Funny you should mention Halloween... although this first appeared at NWBrickCon, I actually started it a couple of months ago- a lot of projects, even small ones, tend to sit around in various (...)   Re: New MOC: Taimatsu Racer

(...) Yes, the canopy looks familiar? Right down to the two colors of curvy slopes on the sides. I had that assembly together for quite a while before actually finishing the model. Then I saw your blue and white ship the other day and did a double (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Taimatsu Racer

(...) Fair enough. It probably would have helped if I gave a better top shot- it looks a lot sleeker from the top or bottom, as the nose is tall and somewhat narrow rather than flat and wide. Even so, the racers aren't all intended for atmospheric (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Taimatsu Racer

(...) I like the little transparent eyepiece element, and of course the usual elegant landing gear solution. I feel the color scheme was very appropriate for the Halloween NWBC, but I have to agree with Jon about the white and orange. I loved that (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: LEGO sells "violent" toys?

(...) So why can't you just buy sets and give him only the "approved parts"? (...) A real conviction should triumph over this, hands down. (...) Your argument is divided between building and play.   Re: Lego Mindstorms e batterie

Re: Mobile Party Palace (Space Wheels Contest Entry)

(...) I love it! Just eyeballing, I would guess the Mobile Party Palace is maybe 27-28 bricks high or so? But it really gives you the illusion of tremendous size--very well done. Also I'm a sucker for the concept of a massive arcology complex (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
