Is there any place where we can see temporary part numbers attributed to a part before official release? For example, Technic Liftarm 1 x 4 x 0.5 was called x200, then x137, and now 32449. Hello, I am new to Lejos and have been trying PC <-> RCX communications. Unfortunately the books I am using are out of date, I see now that RCXComm is being used to Comms. Although by the looks I would agree with the discussion the the Cargo is a better buy, parts wise, I got the Hi-Speed as my first motorised Train (I got a few Santa Fe's at $30 from Myer last year) and It's not a bad set. Lots of Smoke 1x2x2 panels. (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Use spare LEGO beams and parts to make a better platform for the camera while you get into position. Pros: Costs you nothing, can be "recycled" after use without a trip to the recycle centre. Cons: Except, of course, buildtime and suitable spare (...) (21 years ago, 12-Nov-04, to lugnet.space)
