S@H Exchange Rate?!?! (was Re: BNSF high balls it!)

(...) Whoa. I see what you mean. I just checked and at current exchange rate, we could be buying it in the US for $48.24Cdn, instead of the $60Cdn on S@H. I think I'll be calling a travelling friend in the US before I buy it at S@H prices for (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

  First LEGO League

(...) There has been talk of running the '04 FLL challenge as an event at Brickfest DC in '05... (...) Now is a VERY good time to volunteer some time with FLL. Coming up in November & December there are tournaments all over. Here's a good place to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics)

FIRST LEGO Leage, robotics contests, etc., was: RE: Access Ideas

On FLL -- the challenges may seem easy to you, but as a coach you CANNOT help your team... (Believe me, you can get very tired of biting your tongue! LOL!) And the challenges are not easy for the team members! Neither is coaching them without giving (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics)

S@H Specials formatting (was Re: US S@H Specials for Nov 3 - 9 Re: Was mislabelled...)

(...) It's true that for tables, FTX fails its objective of making formatted text readable in plain text. How does this look for a compromise?   Re: cylinders missing conditional lines?

(...) This thread pops up from time to time and never seems to get resolved. (URL) think the problem is this: If you fix the all the primitives, then you really must check all the parts that use them. So we end up ignoring it and moving on. If (...)   cylinders missing conditional lines?

When using the 2-4cyli primitive I noticed one conditional line missing, so I compared all different cyli primitives. Some have conditional lines at both ends, some have not. 1-4cyli: conditional lines at both ends 1-8cyli: conditional line at one (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: US S@H Specials for Nov 3 - 9 Re: Was mislabelled...

(...) I agree, the FTX tables looked great. (...) I frequently do the same, it was quite helpful. It's too bad there isn't a way to show FTX on the web, but newsreaders get something more legible.   Re: US S@H Specials for Nov 3 - 9 Re: Was mislabelled...

(...) I agree with you and always happen with me. I like FTX much better and easy to look picture and quickly read before i decide to order.   Re: Prepare Your Troops for a Surface Attack

  LUGNET Blimp Has Arrived!

Ever since the 5956 Air Zeppelin came out, I thought it would be fun to build a civilian blimp. I tried to think about some color scheme that would lend itself to LEGO colors, and a colorful graphic to put on the blimp itself. Then it occurred to (...)   New Lego window variations.

While working on the Lego CD, I talked with my friend Kurt Richter of Germany, who knows a lot about early Lego. It seems that in 1957 when Lego came out with the classic windows - 1x6x3 (Panorama), 1x6x2 (3 pane), 1x6x2 (shutter), 1x4x2, 1x3x2, (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)
