  Re: Renderer Questions

(...) Peter, I'm adding support for ldglite (and possibly ldlite) to LPub. We've got a few compaibility issues between POV-Ray output and ldglite, but Don is working on this. I'm very pumped about about alternate renderers, and thank Orion for the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Echo Base Arrival

(...) I really enjoyed these pics. They captured the overall sense of urgency and cramped conditions from the movie very well. Also, the use of spotlights was a nice touch... sets the mood. Cheers, Mark (22 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: More KB stores closing

(...) Yes. The three that were conveniently located for me to shop at closed in the last batch, and the one remaining one that's sort of out of the way for me is on the "maybe" list. *sigh* (...)   Re: 3vil Hovertank

3rotic indeed. It's a little too busy, though. I didn't notice the skull on it at first, too much going on on the skull part. Lots of big round things on this tank. That must be how the 3GA likes it, eh? ;) -Matthew Sklar, who hopes his planet (...) (22 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) ... (...) This may not exactly be what you're after, but the beauty of raytraced images is that they can be whatever you want them to be, and they are an order of magnitude better in quality than those produced by the other programs you (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

The RE_wing. A recon version of the E-Wing fighter

Those crazy engineers at FreiTek have come up with a heavily modified scout version of the E-Wing fighter, the RE-Wing. It measures in at 12 meters long (using 6 studs = 1 meter) with a wing span of 9 meters. It has two custom heavy thrust fusion (...)   Ferry 'Schulpengat': progress

Hullo! Just to report on my current project: a model of the Dutch roro-ferry 'Schulpengat'. Model specs: - I only (plan to :-}) have enough Lego to model the front part of the ferry... - has working Voith-schneider propellor, car-deck doors are (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Vehicle Scorer

(...) Heh, I finally caught wind of this thread :) Like Mike, I'd really like to see an updated-for-2001 rules scorer... Which is sorta what started stopping me. The difficulty came when I started adapting the scorer for the 2001 rulebook, and tried (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Educational store in Bells Corners

G'day folks, I was wondering if anyone has ever checked out the Educational/Teachers store in Bells Corners, on Roberston west of Moodie (in mini-mall across from the Nissan stealership).   Re: Piggybacking sensors, but in a different way
