Re: Jar Jar will probably be back

(...) You are so right. But there are still 15 unknown words. It could be: The <Phantom> Menace may <be> destroyed, but nearby lurks <a> new <some phrase indicating a danger to the future>. Steve (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: How old are these Legos?

Hi Lee, Also, she has some larger gears with teeth on it, several about 3" its called BEWEGO in Holland its the runner up for Technic. A short cut for Moving LEGO, it could be MOVEGO, but ? The wheels are coulored, fi red, yellow and blue.Set number (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Parts buying help.

To the wise HB builders, First can I us a poly-styrene cap of the same value instead of the polypro?? Can I use a 3.92 1% in place of the 3.83 1%, what will happen??   Re: So few threads...

(...) I'd suggest the messages/thread ratio suggests just the opposite: in low-ratio groups, threads tend to stay on-topic, while in long-thread groups, the conversations wander every which-way. Steve (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG 1998 Annual Report

(...) I agree with what you say. I hate to see TLG sacrifice advanced sets, because some (even most) kids don't like them. If kids need simpler sets, make some of each. On model sets, replace (or enhance) the age range indicator with a "challenge (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Too much forshadowing

(...) The IMDB lists Clive Revill as doing the voice. But I can't find any listing of who did the physical portrayal. The Emperor was physically present in TESB, wasn't he? -- Terry K -- (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Bug eyes, anyone?

Can someone take a look at part 30209, the bracket used to hold the 4x4 faceted hemisphere? It's used in Insectoids to hold the eyes, but more recently in the Spaceport lunar rover. My copy is "bent" or angled, meaning that if I attach the 1X2 plate (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Reconstructing second hand LEGO sets

(...) It's not exhaustive, from any point-of-view. I think James documented the sets he had, for the pieces he could put online. Awhile ago, I created a utility to reformat the data by set. It quickly became apparent there were pieces missing for (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Where are the World Cup Sets this time around?

(...) You're right, Dave, that is too bad. OTOH, soccer is not a big sport in the US, and women's soccer is even less important (in regards to the popularity) than men's. Since the WWC1999 is in the US, not Europe, TLG wouldn't sell as many sets in (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: off- topic - Finally saw it - some thoughts

(...) Steve, I think you should follow the form: De bIG BOmM -- Terry K -- (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.starwars)
