  Re: Save the RIS!

Unfortunately, it seems that TLC doesn't have a clear idea of what to do with Mindstorms in general. Their support for the whole line has been less than full - note the failure to update software for their cameras beyond Win98. I've been using the (...)   Re: Shifty Brand Hits North America

(...) Yup I got several. Along with chrome pistols. There is also this funny red cup that Shifty inserted in with the Lego picture. On the front is appears red, on the back and side its yellow. In the set it is transparent red. (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

  Re: LUCNYville "Standards"

Looking good Wayne. As for standards, I was thinking of making a small replica of the Erie Canal. I have not yet thought it all the way through, but I am hoping to possibly use Mindstorms to pull the boat with the Donkey (horse). Have to see where (...)   Re: New MOC, Kalamazoo County Courthouse

The building looks great. I really like the use of the Grey figure from Harry Potter on the top of the tower. The overall detail is fantastic. You have really caught the look of the building and brought it to life. Great Job!! Can't wait to see what (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.town)

  Shifty Brand Hits North America

I was out checking the lego situation in Metrotown, when I decided to look at the Dollar Store. I noticed some model cars in the front and wanted to see them. Upon my entrance to the Toy aisle, I immediately look at a lower shelf and see Pirate (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

-I once ingested a piece of ABS.- ¯¯¯...¯¯¯ <No! it was *NOT* intentional!> I was young… And the piece looked particularly chewy….   Re: ::Pokes with stick::

(...) Yep, there's fans here. (well, modest fan in my case. I just started following the storyline again after the details of the fifth book release.) I wonder how soon they can get this release out before one of the actors breaks out in zits? (just (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Worst LEGO experience

Other than stepping on the random sharp brick and uttering a lot of foul language, I'd say my worst LEGO experiences are when I accidently demolish a model. For example, I accidently caused the demise of my 12' crawler crane ((URL) when trying to (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Save the RIS!
