An interesting philosophical question about instruction approaches... Does anyone have any thoughts on or examples of instructions that are organized in a hierarchy as opposed to linearly? I totally agree with all these comments. This especially rears it's head when doing passenger coaches where I've use the same sub model 36 times in s set of 4 coaches! Which brings up an interesting philosophical question about instruction (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.inst)

(...) It's not just you it's impacted me, at least. I consider it a retrograde step too, it tripped me up confusing white and grey. Milton Train Works(tm) instructions will not use shading in the foreseeable future, I don't think... (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I've noticed that it tends to be particularly bad on slopes. If the sloped side is facing the light source (upper right, IIRC) then it is rendered about five shades too light. Rounded pieces tend to look really weird, too. In my opinion they (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Just got my second RIS, a 1.5 with Serial-Tower this time. I did not installed any other software than the previous I had (Win98, JDK1.3, Lejos 2.0, USB Drivers for Lego-Tower). Adrian, What you are asking for might be overkill. I would think some EMT conduit, a piece of tarp/canvas, and some rope to stretch the canvas tight should be more than enough. Portable, too. Basically, you would hang the mosaic from rope/cable (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest)

Hello, Is there anyone who will be at the next BayLUG meeting (Sat Feb 8, 2003) who wants some of the 6322 road plates? These are the straight plates that have recently sold out of Shop at Home.
