  More on MegaPov

Hi all, A few days after my post about MegaPov 0.7 a new version was released, compatible with POV-Ray 3.5. So to a certain point that post was a bit pointless. I have downloaded MegaPov 1.0 (MP1.0) for both Macintosh and Windows but only tested it (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Stefan: Glad you liked them! Yeah, the "1x2 plate with center stud" ( (URL) ) is really your best friend when doing this sort of thing. (...) LOL! :) Yeah, these buildings are a vast departure from my 5-foot-tall skyscrapers and whatnot... probably better too, because it saves me a lot of money and they're quick to build! :) Glad you liked them. Sean (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New MOCs: Some really tiny NYC landmarks

(...) That's my favorite, too. The Citigroup building didn't look like much of anything until I started adding the subterrania, and now I love the way it came out.   Re: What a downer :-(

One idea has crept into my mind. Maybe, it's just one of those years? I thought back to the mid 80's and looked at some of my US LEGO brochures to check out what was out then. As I remembered it, Technic was rather thin. One important note: this is (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic)

  Re: 75% off Target Sales

(...) A Target near me (northern California) had the MOT stuff at 75% off today. I was lucky enough to get the last 4534 they had for <$40. Picked up a few of the rolling stock kits as well.   Re: Abston Church of Christ

Thanks, Scott. I don't really care what people say about it or me, since even those who find it as a result of some disparaging post seem to enjoy it, judging by the email I get.   Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project continues: Carrot-wing Fighter

I love this for the college nostalgia... Once upon a time (about 1995) there was a game called Tyrian. It was a top-scroller space shoot-em-up. Surely they are not remaking the 8280 Fire Engine and the 8235 Front End loader? I'd rather see the 951 Bulldozer, the 8853 Excavator, and the 8862 Backhoe brought back to life.
