Hey Amy,
Yeah, I wouldn't take what the Slashdotters and the like
have to say as anything even remotely disturbing. I think
they may be picking on the subject and your dedication to
your pet, which are things that high-flying twenty-somethings
(the bulk of the postership, if not the readership) think
are "cool" to bash. The fact is that the Abston Church is
an amazing achievement (just checked it out again, from here
in the Netherlands!) and there's no way they can detract
from it without taking some cheap shots at someone they don't
even know.
Hopefully I'll see it in person someday!
