  Re: New MOC: Micro Mech

(...) My thanks for the comments. (...) I'd say somewhere around thirty minutes. It was a very small project, but it did comsume plenty of smaller plates. (...)   Re: Lego introduces L-gauge

Upon viewing the ad (thank you Larry P. for your post of the larger scan), nowhere is it mentioned that the motor is needed and not included with the purchase of the Super Chief. Perhaps it's included with the kit, but it's not mentioned that a (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Hey, thanks for digging. What was the magic search string? I gotta say, while I won't be pasting the page up into my copy of "Ten best designed web pages ever" (I hate stuff that blinks), it's pretty tame stuff indeed. (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego introduces L-gauge

A few months ago I recieved a call from LEGO asking me to help a copywriter put this add together, originally they were going to called it L-scale, but I told them L-gauge would appeal to the model railroader crowd a bit more...and that we (LTCs (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Lego introduces L-gauge

Re: Where are the 2003 Lego retail catalogs?

(...) I'm wondering too, having just opened 3562 and 3563 (NBA Collector Packs) and found nothing. I wasn't expecting a catalog, but there wasn't even a fold out pamphlet or a LEGO Club Membership offer. Maybe they'll be in sets shipped later... (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Air transportation of RCXs etc

My views on the subject: If you are taking a pre-made MOC, take the whole thing in hand luggage if possible (or mabie just the module with the RCX in it).   Re: Where are the 2003 Lego retail catalogs?

(...) I just opened a <set:7415 Areo Nomad> and got a catalog. Too bad it was a 2002 catalog. :-( Me thinks LEGO might not of had the catalogs printed in time for the first 2003 sets in North America. Jude (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)
