  Re: is anyone else finding...

(...) Anakin's Pod Racer has these ratcheting hinges in a plate. It's what's holding up those long yellow vanes on the top and sides of the thrusters. Cheers, - jsproat (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

  Re: A recursion question/test...

I've been meaning to ask: Do you believe technology exists? It would seem hard to maintain a postition of a Techno-Atheist, given that you're using a computer to post. Just ribbing ya, sorry ;-) (...) -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Building exhaustion

(...) I sort by piece function, in a... system... of... Whoops, I already said that, didn't I? :-P (...) Don't forget haggling, kibitzing, and flaunting. :-, Cheers, - jsproat (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: TIE/Y-Wing Instructions book

(...) I am sad. Why? Because I live in the Netherlands and have to wait until September for the EP I sets to come out. And you ask me "Take a look, you'll see what I mean."... :-( But, hey! If you would sent me a minifig to compare, I will! ;-) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Almost finished with TPM novel -- ONE SPOILER WAY BELOW THE TEXT

Just thought I'd pass this along, I'm almost done with the novelization of Episode I and I must say, I think the story is very entertaining and makes for a great read. I intended not to read the novel before seeing the movie, but I couldn't resist (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) (URL), or go to (URL) and click the link. I don't think I uploaded the version with the cone-sizing page... (...) Especially in 1-4 and 1-8 versions. (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDLite question

(...) LDLite's display is 24-bit. It has potential to display a large number of colors, if you turn on shading, define as many different color values as possible (I think 32K colors are allowed?), and then render them. Steve (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: TIE/Y-Wing Instructions book

(...) Yep, I had heard about this. There are some other oddities that might have occurred due to the short turnaround on these sets. For example, Qui Jinn's (sp?) hair is slightly different when comparing the actual hair piece included in the Ep 1 (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Building exhaustion

(...) Not hardly. This thread has 37 messages. I just did a quick visual scan of what's in my newsreader, and I found a couple of dozen threads longer than this one. There were some threads with over a hundred messages. Storage threads seem to go on (...) (27 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)
