But... Didn't anyone notice before that in the
TIE/Y-Wing Instructions book Darth Vaders head is drawn yellow on page
2, while it is grey ofcourse?

Yep, I had heard about this.  There are some other oddities that might have
occurred due to the short turnaround on these sets.  For example, Qui Jinn's
(sp?) hair is slightly different when comparing the actual hair piece
included in the Ep 1 sets to the piece that's pictured on the boxes.  It
looks like LFL requested some changes to Qui Jinn's hair to make it more
realistic.  Take a look, you'll see what I mean.

Also, the TIE/Y-Wing and the X-Wing sets are the two remaining sets from the
Classic Trilogy that I don't own yet.  I'm thinking these are going to be
birthday requests, but after hearing that the 8448 Super Car II is becoming
available, I'm facing a tough dilemma as a LEGO junkie.  And, I'm not even
much of a Technic fan, but darn, that car is awesome looking (1400 + pieces
too!).

(...) I am sad. Why? Because I live in the Netherlands and have to wait until September for the EP I sets to come out. And you ask me "Take a look, you'll see what I mean."... :-( But, hey! If you would sent me a minifig to compare, I will! ;-) (26 years ago, 12-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
