  Re: Bad electric leads

(...) The point which is most likely to fail is right where the wire goes into the end-plate. This is because thats where most bending occurrs most often. The more it gets bent this way & that, the more likely it is to separate inside the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Lego announcments

I've been told that Lego Australia aren't involved with Lego Direct. They may provide some customer service but have nothing to do with orders or distribution of pieces. If the pieces don't come fron Denmark then probably Korea as has been the case (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Hey Y'all: I saw some pretty cool stuff at the Baylug meeting today -- everyone had neat models on display (even though they were all being excessively modest about their stuff). I will not say that it was the best model I saw, because they were all (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Interstate dudes and dudettes at SF VII

(...) The quick & the dead 8?) (...) So, MUGS, how many takers do we have? The problem (as I see it) is time - how long does it take to drive to Sydney (I've never done it)? If we want to see the Powerhouse as well, I think it'd be impossible to do (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Hypothetically Speaking...

(...) For me the basic point comes down to size. My layout is 9 X 20 and to increase it by 1/3 would mean I could never set all the modules up. Also as Larry point out increased cost would slow down developement. 8 wides are great for models, 10 or (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: How do you view your LEGO collection?

(...) I feel your pain. I went to 3 Wal-Marts, 1 Target, 3 K-Marts, 2 Toys R' Us only to find it at my local wal-mart after giving up. All they had was the new SW shuttle and I didn't even have a check to bounce for it. sigh... Darrell (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MARS INFO!

(...) It must be a future polybag set, I thought it may be the car from the solar explorer, but it definitely isn't. What confuses me is that on (URL) it shows the alternate model (from the back of the box) instead of the main "Mono Jet" design, (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: Cathedral of Ice MOC

Hey - Thanks! I'll take that as an extra special compliment from someone that doesn't normally like buildings! I'm working on the interior now. Its taking quite a while, but I'm getting some good, preliminary results. Bryce McGlone (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Classic Space Contest Voting

(...) Hi. It's been a little quiet in here and I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss the voting form or anything. It hasn't been sent yet has it? KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203, Windsor, Ontario, Canada (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)
