Re: My Space Theme Wish for 2001

(...) They did specifically address the temperature, and the robust cosmonaut compared it to a cold Russian winter. In addition, they'd turned the thermostat on his suit way up to preserve his core temp. I'm sure he couldn't have lasted long, even (...)   Re: My Space Theme Wish for 2001

Think of all the bricks it would be... But not many space bricks, it would be more like a town setup. The really interesting part would be the hull, with all it's mazes and strange places (if you've read Rama 2 you know what I mean). And the Node! (...)   Re: Life on Mars air-pump function

(...) I hope that's not quite how it works; the last thing we need is a toy marketed to (probably) ages 4 and up that's capable of launching a high velocity projectile (and hence a choking hazard). At the very least, if that IS how it works, slap an (...) (25 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

What I found rather strange, though, was that after the astronauts boarded Discovery and released oxygen in the ship, they just took their helmets off and started breathing!   S. Fujita's LSW (was: Re: 10 min star wars (ep IV) tribute movie using lego chrcters)

(...) The closest thing I can think of is S. Fujita's totally incredible LEGO version of the original SW trilogy (Ep. IV-VI). He spent 155 weeks (!) producing models and photographing them.   Re: A real live working LEGO Shelf railway...

Awesome contest! I'll enter. <questions> Can I submit models that I did in the past? Like, a year ago? Or will I have to make new ones? (...) It could be a half round, but the Alpha Team's enemie's base is built on a 6416 style baseplate, and looks like it has a curved wall around the stairs, which are a quarter circle, and the wall would be 4x4 to fit the curve.   Using one motor to do 2 things...
