I want to program my HB so that my robot will be able to navigate around obstacles. The navigation area is a rectangular area boarded by a silver duct tape. My robot shall not touch the tape. I'm not recording anything from the tower. I'm recording the message as sent by the RCX. That's nine bytes, if I remember the RCX packet format correctly. I suppose it's possible that the remote can't learn sequences that long, but I hope not. :) I (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Has anyone gotten a "learning" remote control to work with the RCX? I'm refering to the type of remote that is capable of learning commands from existing remotes. I recently purchased on of these from Radio Shack, and tried to teach it to send IR (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi David, I am working on a self learning robot using a neural brain, which should be finished in a week or so.
