  new Throwbots

I was at Target tonight and was able to get 6 of the 8 new "Throwbots". These sets sell for $6.00 and have fairly low piece counts (~30-40) but many of the piece are completely new (at least they're new to me). What's interesting from the point of (...)   Re: IR Port as Proximity detector.

Oops, noticed a coding error, the line that says: level = Input(1); Should read: level = IN_2; For better readability. The original version works b/c IN_2 is #defined already as Input(1); but the latter is more readable. I have used this (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

this is my first auczilla, so I'm just getting the hang of it. To answer your other question, no, not even close. That place in the MOA went away years ago.   IR Port as Proximity detector.

Someone (Can't remember who, so unfortunately unable to give credit for the idea appropriately) posted the fact that the IR port used as a emitter coupled with the Light Sensor unit as the reciever can be used as a IR proximity sensor. Seemed like a (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Lego Creator Success

I just wanted to report that I have experienced a flawless install of Lego Creator. I was really worried with all of the problems others had reported. I thought I'd let you all know the environment: I just built an ATX Celeron 300A, with a Matrox (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Yes! You can order via S@H. In fact, the Jan 99 catalog says to "Call and reserve yours TODAY!". The SW sets won't actually ship until the end of February and won't all ship at once. I've already ordered one of each. :) (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Some of you may have noticed me losing my temper (something I seldom do - hah) about not receiving a S@H catalog yet last week on RTL. Well, today I received one sent to me via first class mail, with a personal note attached assuring me that they (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
