  RE: Friday's Meet

Hi all, Sorry I didn't make it Friday night. I completely forgot. I've been busy planning my vacation (4 weeks starting today). I'm kicking myself for having missed Mark's F-15 (or 14.5 or whatever). (...) I'll try to remember. This will definitely (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: 8458 Silver Champion is incredible!

Whoa, what? Discontinued? Granted I've only ever seen one 8448 in a brick & mortar store and that was months ago, but I assumed it would be in the Shop at Home catalog for the next year at least. I was going to order one in January or so, do I need (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Value of pitchfork, trans-red shields, tudor walls

How much would you offer (or has been offered) for a pitchfork, 1 to 4 trans-red shields, or 1 or 2 yellow tudor walls*? *the walls are pretty heavily used: on the first one: the black printing has worn off a bit and there are quite a few scratches (...)   Re: Concerns with Racial Attitudes and Lego

(...) Eric, I seriously doubt that the yellow minifig is as repulsive as domestic violence. I think you cheapen your argument by reacting in that way to Bruce's assessment of TLC's position (as I understand his comments). That's TLC's position, not (...)   FS/FT: Technic 8480 Space Shuttle(s)

I have several 8480 Technic Space Shuttles which I would like to sell or trade for other Technic or Mindstorms sets of comparable size/value. Each shuttle is sealed and in mint condition. For a straight sale I'm asking $115 plus shipping (approx. (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Really good find

I bought one of these the other day for its 2x(1,2)x3 vertical slopes (castle slopes/AT-ST face slopes) but on the whole its pretty dodgy. Far too many BURPS and one-use pieces (I actually bought it for the BURPS also but perhaps not the six it (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri)

  Re: Weapons

I came up with a design for a mace for a priest minifig of mine some time ago. I used an antenna, a 1x1 brick w/ studs on side, and four 1x1 tiles w/ clip. Here's an illustration: "(URL) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Why do we (BAYLTC) want to display?

Regarding size of clubs. PNLTC has at least 18 active members, with several more in the wings providing encouragement and support. PNLTC uses a list serve which has 10-20 messages a day. Which may explain the lack of our posting to lugnet. (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

  FOTW, dagnabit.

Hi everyone, I leave for a two-phase year in .nl in five hours, not to see my Lego again for many months. Yet today, I got bitten by an FOTW--the third one in as many days (so perhaps it's only an FOTD, but it was nice anyhow). I've been popping (...)   Suggestion?

Hi Mike! I've been working on a large model and have run into the slowwwiiiinnnnggg-dowwn wall. Whenever I add a new piece or rotate a selected one it seems to take forever.
