 | | Ironic LEGO Auction Item
Check out (URL) is not my auction, but I thought it was rather ironic. The auction title says "LEGO Legoland Motor Speedway 6381 Boxed," but reading on in the auction listing I stumbled across this: "Its missing 2 pieces but comes extras of others. (...) (...) No, typically the person would say "MISB" if that's what they meant- "Mint In Sealed Box". (...) Perhpas that the box comes with it? I'm currently trying to build a large (4 foot) model of the Imperial Star Destroyer, and I'm having a devil of a time working out those wierd compound angles on the ship. I know I could just build up the slopes with plate pieces, but I have far (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

Is there a place where I can get a standard name or part number from? I'll check brickbay.com but I don't know if there is such a thing. Name of the names came from brickbay.com. I'll check and if someone does know of a standard I'll be happy to (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

 | | Minifig Heads

Is it just me or are some of our minifig heads evolving? I mean it all started with Jar Jar Bink's head in the 1999 Star Wars EPI Series of toys. That head was a pain in the slag. I've noticed that C-3PO's head looks that way too. And Chewies'. I (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

One other thing I can do is add a pic. of each piece next to the description? But this will make the file huge so I think description will be better of not to mention that I would be able to get all the photos of all the pieces..... ahui (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

...Okay, they're not actually woes, just a couple of nits that *really* slow me down: First, when I start up L3Lab, I get a message box telling me that the best drawings should be rendered in true color (24/32 bit) instead of my measly 64k-color (...)
