This is not my auction, but I thought it was rather ironic. The auction title
says "LEGO Legoland Motor Speedway 6381 Boxed," but reading on in the auction
listing I stumbled across this:
"Its missing 2 pieces but comes extras of others. Missing pieces are the arrow
on the bridge and a tool."
I have to ask, if the set is boxed how does the person running the auction
know the pieces are missing? Shouldn't "boxed" mean it's in a factory sealed
box? I guess not. :-) I wonder what the person running the auction meant
by "boxed?"
I just found it ironic and humorous, so I thought I would pass it on. If the
person running the auction reads this post, please don't take offense.

| (...) No, typically the person would say "MISB" if that's what they meant- "Mint In Sealed Box". (...) Perhpas that the box comes with it? It's not unreasonable to expect a little extra for a toy in it's original box, even if it's been opened and (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

| (...) I typically regard "boxed" as simply including the original box. The set may nor may not be complete. The quality of the pieces is not specified, and the instructions may or may not be included. MISB (Mint In Sealed Box) or NIB (New In Box) or (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.auction)
