For what it's worth, I agree. I think that yellow is fine for representing
lighter skinned races such as Caucasians and East Asians, but a bit of a
stretch for darker-skinned races, such as South Asians, Africans, and
Australian Aborigines.
This issue has come up several times before, and various opinions are
available by searching the archives.
Also, note that the term "African-American" is really too "Americentric" for
this subject. Characters in an Adventurers Safari theme would likely be
African, not African-American. I'd like to see a Lando Calrissian Star Wars
figure. His character is neither African nor American.

| I think that Lego has slacked off a bit. I think that Lego should make some Black minifigs. African American. Light Brown Head thing. It would open up alot of stuff i.e. Adventurers Safari, MIB Lego Themes, Baseball etc. Tell me what you (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
